Join the TCU tradition of welcoming the Class of 2028 to the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at the annual White Coat Celebration in the Legends Club in Amon G. Carter Stadium this July.
This event gathers the newest class, their families, faculty, staff and friends to kick off a new school year. Each student receives a selection of gifts intended to help them in their first year of medical school: a white medical coat branded with the Burnett School logo, a set of textbooks, diagnostic tuning forks and hammer, a suture kit and a stethoscope. Each year, loyal sponsors help underwrite the cost of these gifts. Sponsors have an immediate and meaningful impact on our students, reinforcing that an entire community is grateful for their arrival and supports their journey.
HOW YOUR GIFT WILL HELP
We would love for you, our community, to play a role in welcoming these amazing students by sponsoring a white coat. The White Coat Celebration is an honored tradition made even more special with your support.
A tax-deductible gift of $100 will purchase a white coat for a first-year medical student. They receive their gift at the ceremony and will share this special moment with their family and friends. Our goal is to raise funds to purchase coats for each of our 60 students.
Dear Friends, Faculty, Staff and Families,
We extend our gratitude to each of you who supported the White Coat Celebration this year. We are happy to announce that we not only sponsored every student’s White Coat but also your generosity covered the cost of other gifts that will welcome the Class of 2028 this Saturday. Every student will know how much we value and support their medical education journey as Empathetic Scholars®!
