Gifts of any size to any area on TCU Gives Day can and will make a substantial impact on Horned Frog students. Below are a few additional ways to contribute. Make your gift over the phone by calling 817-257-7800.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts: If you have a loved one who has been impacted by TCU, establishing a memorial or tribute gift is a meaningful way to honor them during TCU Gives Day. Visit makeagift.tcu.edu to make a memorial or tribute gift today. Please add “TCU Gives Day” in the comment section if you’d like your gift to be counted!

Donor Advised Fund: This “charitable savings account” allows you to recommend a grant to TCU whenever you like. You can also name TCU as the beneficiary of your entire account or a percentage of it.

Appreciated Securities: Use this popular option to make a gift of stocks, mutual funds or cryptocurrency you’ve owned at least a year that have grown in value, while eliminating capital gains taxes on the transfer. You may also be entitled to a federal income tax charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities or cryptocurrency at the time of the transfer.

IRA Distribution: If you’re 70½ or older, you can give any amount up to $111,000 per year directly to TCU from your IRA without having to pay income taxes on the money.
