TCU ELITE Dance Team

We are raising $11,000 to help with expenses for our trip to nationals.  Your contribution will significantly help in our quest this year to take home a championship for the Frogs!

Who Are WE?

TCU Elite Dance is a strictly competitive collegiate team that competes at the local and national level. We focus on the technical aspect of dance, specifically in lyrical, jazz, and contemporary. Not only do we compete in several dance competitions, but we can also be found doing fundraisers and performing both on and off campus.

Our story

In 2018, the dance team took home 1st runner up at American Dance/Drill Team (ADTS) National Dance Competition in Denton, Texas and placed 7th in NDA Collegiate National Finals in addition to winning 1st in the "Challenge Cup." For the past 4 years, TCU Elite has placed first at ADTS in Denton, where we were able to win the highest scoring collegiate dance team in Texas in the 2010-2011 season. We have continued to attend NDA Collegiate nationals for the past three years, and placed 6th in finals in 2011. During the 2014-2015 season, TCU Elite won first place in Division 1A Jazz at the ADTS National Championships in Denton, TX. Elite has attended USA Nationals in Anaheim, California and placed in the Top 5 for the 2015-2018 years.

Where will the money go?

  • This funding will support the expenses required to attend nationals
  • If there are any extra funds, we would like to compete in more competitions and possibly enter more than one dance
  • Below are the highest expenses we incur during our season:
  • Competition Registration: $1,500
  • Flights: $4,000
  • Hotel: $3,500
  • Travel (charter bus): $2,000
