Hello fellow Horned Frog Adventurer!
WHO WE ARE
We are the Supportive Gaming Community at TCU, but we usually go by SGC. We are a group of students who find community with one another using tabletop role playing games (TTRPGS) like Dungeons & Dragons, Monster of the Week and Avatar: Legends. We are a peer support community organized by the TCU Counseling Center.
SUPPORTING PEER SUPPORT
We look forward to another legendary year for TCU Supportive Gaming Community. A gift of any size helps this peer support community continue to provide a welcoming place for nerdy and geeky student to build connections, support each other and flex their creative muscles. Your gift will help offset the operational costs of events, supplies and for members of the community.
HIGHLIGHTS
For the 2023-2024 year, the Supportive Gaming Community had eleven staff supported tables and three student run tables. We will be graduating twelve seniors in the 2023-2024 academic year. Our largest class yet!

We did it! The first ever Legacy Quest for the Supportive Gaming Community has been successful! We reached our initial funding goal of $2000! A big thank you to everyone who donated and helped raise awareness about this tremendous community! Because of your support we are able to continue growing our supportive community of incredible creative students.
Just last week we bid a fond farewell to our largest graduating class ever. Eleven seniors crossed the stage having been members of the Supportive Gaming Community. Many of them had been a part of the community for several years and all of them will be missed. It is because of gifts and donations from people like you that we can provide places like the Supportive Gaming Community for our students. Thank you so much and thank you for being a part of Legacy Quest!
The Supportive Gaming Community's first ever Legacy Quest has only 13 days left, and we are almost 90% of the way to our goal! To those who have donated, thank you so much! We truly appreciate your generosity. These funds will help us to provide an engaging and rewarding community to our students during their time at TCU and long after graduation.
The song "The Road Goes Ever On", from the Lord of the Rings, seems relevant for our continued quest to provide a safe and supportive community for our students.
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.
We know the SGC will continue to grow in the future and we are excited to see what that looks like. However, we could not do that without all of you. Thank you again so much for your support of our students and the Supportive Gaming Community.
Go Frogs!
268 days ago by Joe LeconteHello Horned Frog Adventurers!
We are almost five days into our Spring Fundraiser, Legacy Quest! We have almost reached 50% of our goal. WOW! Thank you so much if you donated or helped to spread the word about our fundraiser.
Part of what donations like yours go towards is supporting the creation of senior character portraits for our graduating seniors.
Dating back to our first graduating class in 2020 every student who has graduated from TCU and the SGC has received a professional illustration of their character. During our end of semester celebrations in the fall and spring the seniors are presented with their portraits. They keep a copy of the portrait and we hang up a copy of their character in our space in the TCU counseling center.
The creation of these portraits help to support a professional artist Toni Gil and provide the graduates with a connection to the SGC that will last a lifetime.
Our students also wanted to share a special thank you:
Thank y’all so much for supporting the SGC— the SGC has given so many of us a home and a family, so the outpouring of love and support is truly humbling. We love y’all! - Cali
Thank you so much for your generous donation to our ogranization! We're so grateful for your continued support towards helping TCU students find belonging and community through gaming on our campus! - Karsen H.
Hello Horned Frog Adventurers!
The first day of our quest has been amazing! We have 9 different donors put us 15% of the way to our goal. We even had one donor give us an amazing matching gift of an additional $5 for every donation up to $500!
All of your generosity is so wonderful and we are so grateful to get such a commanding start to our quest!
