Arielle Austin Schmeck (BBA ’13, MAc ’14) and Jeffrey Schmeck (BS ’11) are proud TCU alumni and even prouder parents to current KinderFrog Luke and future KinderFrog Addison, “Addie.” Luke surprised his parents with his magical extra 21st chromosome, also known as Down syndrome, when he was born. This sparked Arielle and Jeffrey’s passion to support individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, specifically helping those individuals as they pursue a post-secondary education. It’s their dream that Luke has the opportunity to graduate from TCU twice, once as one of TCU’s littlest Frogs and once as a college graduate.
